The members of the AAQG are major aerospace companies with individuals who have expertise to carry out the design, development, manufacture, and support of original equipment at the system level. Rules for membership in the AAQG are determined and maintained by the SAE Industry Technologies Consortia and the AAQG. For an organization to be a member of the AAQG, the organization shall:
- Establish a voting member
- Have the current voting member sign the charter Appendix A
- Pay any fees as required by the SAE Industry Technologies Consortia
Member - An individual from a company that provides completely integrated platforms or completely integrated major systems to platforms and who maintains an active role in the AAQG. Members have full access to the AAQG private website, voting privileges, and participate on AAQG teams, sub-committees, or projects.
Liaison - An individual currently employed by a company that carries out the design, development, manufacture, and support of aerospace original equipment and maintains an active role in the AAQG or Representatives of Government Departments and Agencies participating in AAQG meetings and projects. Liaisons have full access to the AAQG private website, can submit comments on document ballots, and participate on AAQG teams, sub-committees, or projects.
Mailing List Recipient - Guests and interested parties. Mailing list recipients can participate on AAQG teams or projects.
