Fluid simulation reduces valve prototype development time
Aerospace valve manufacturer Shaw Aero Devices recently faced a challenge from one of its customers to build a solenoid valve with a pressure drop of 0.75 psi at a flow rate of 4.45 gal/min, while its standard valve measured outat 6.09 psi.

Anark aims to make better use of CAD data
Anark has been working in the real-time 3-D application development arena since 1994, and in that time it has noticed a gap between current 3-D CAD tools and collaborative product data management (CPDM) products.
