High-frequency dynamics simulation

Intercept missiles are susceptible to high-frequency dynamic motion, such as vibration, which can result in sensor line-of-sight errors on missile closed-loop guidance. While most flight motion simulators—used to replicate the disturbances—have bandwidths of 60 to 100 Hz, CARCO Electronics needed a motion test system that could accurately represent low-amplitude, high-frequency dynamics up to 1000 Hz.
