Integrated CAM

Open Mind Software Technologies' hyperMILL 6.0 is an integrated CAM application for Mechanical Desktop. The software contains optimized functions for improving efficiency throughout the complete chain of production. It automatically recognizes features such as faces, pockets, grooves, drill holes with relevant access direction, remote drill holes, and offset CAD models.

CAD/CAM router

Mastercam Router from CNC Software is specialized for work with wood and plastics. It delivers easy design and programming, efficient nesting, fast engraving, and is fully associative. CAM functions include contouring, pocketing, drilling, 3-D surface cutting, and 5-axis machining.

Transponder optimization

Analytical Graphics, Inc. will distribute Lockheed Martin Global Telecommunications' COMPLAN software, a capacity management tool for satellite transponders. The software lets users increase revenues and reduce costs by managing satellite resources more efficiently. It models and analyzes operations of C-, Ku-, X-, and Ka-band transponders.

Remote diagnostics server

Qualtech Systems, Inc. has completed a NASA Ames Phase II Small Business Innovative Research resulting in the development of a large-scale Remote Diagnostics Server (RDS) architecture. The system was designed for the International Space Station. With this technology, an e-commerce customer can upload sensor/test data to RDS over the Internet, have it processed automatically via the intelligent model-based reasoner, and view the resulting diagnostics on a Web page in seconds. Further testing and maintenance operations can also be performed.

CAM system

DP Technology's ESPRIT 2001 offers advances in automated tool path generation and optimized cycle times for mills, lathes, and Wire EDM machines. It supports all styles of lathes and "Swiss style" machines and provides operation sorting for minimized machine cycle times, knowledge-based machining for Charmilles machines, a macro recorder, and form tool add-in.
