Boeing goes for Clean-Aero

Boeing is expanding its involvement in environmental aerospace research in Europe via a project called Clean-Aero. Its Research and Technology Center in Madrid and the Spanish Inasmet Foundation have signed an agreement to work on environmentally friendly materials in the manufacturing process of aeronautical elements. Inasmet is a private, non-profit technological center established in the early 1960s to serve industry through technological transfer. It concentrates particularly on materiel technology, industrial processes, and the environment, and has two manufacturing and research plants.
