DRS opens new facility
-
To accommodate the production capacities of current programs as well as make room for future programs, DRS Technologies, Inc. has opened a new state-of-the-art manufacturing facility in Johnstown, PA. The new 130,000 ft2 facility built for the company's DRS Laurel Technologies unit provides expanded environmental stress screening capacity, more efficient materials management, and enhanced ability for quickly responding to advancements in production technology. DRS Laurel Technologies provides a full range of electronic manufacturing services, from low-volume prototype production to high-volume integration work for the defense, aerospace, and commercial industries.
