The GTDC puts the resources and experience of Visteon at your command. Our 34,000-square-foot facility offers a complete range of equipment and personnel to assist you with your automotive research. Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computer-Aided Engineering (CAE) Laboratories. Rapid Prototyping. Calibration Laboratories. Electromechanical Hydraulic Laboratories. The heart of the GTDC is the "Entrepreneur Works." This environment was specifically designed to encourage creativity while being flexible to the unique demands of your project. The large open space encourages communication and information sharing between every member of your development team. In addition, four dedicated team rooms are available. These high-security centers restrict access to sensitive information to team members and clients only.

Accelerating Design

The GTDC is also the home of the Innovative Solutions Group. Your technical staff will be working side-by-side with the same engineers that bring the latest innovations to the Panoz FIA/GT Sports Car, CART, and Formula One vehicles. The advantages are obvious. In partnership with Visteon, De Tomaso utilized our breakthrough technology to develop the Mangusta sports car. By collaborating with the Innovative Solutions Group, the Mangusta technology show vehicle boasts a host of technological breakthroughs—an advanced, integrated instrument panel and cluster; laser and HID lighting; in-dash six CD player; a global positioning system; tap sensitive on-glass keyless and "hands-free" entry systems; side impact and advanced air bags—all developed at the Visteon GTDC.
