CFD software gives faster turnaround

Fluent Inc.'s FIDAP 8.0 and GAMBIT 1.0 provide increased ability to solve engineering problems and allow for
a faster turnaround. The software enables engineers to build a computer model of a design and simulate phenomena such as fluid flow, heat transfer, and chemical reactions. GAMBIT 1.0, the new preprocessor, affords the latest technology for
geometry modeling and mesh generation. FIDAP 8 contains improved code architecture and memory management. Features include a Web browser-based help system and
algorithmic improvements for reduction in solution time by a factor of
two to three.
