Error 404--Not Found

From RFC 2068 Hypertext Transfer Protocol -- HTTP/1.1:

10.4.5 404 Not Found

The server has not found anything matching the Request-URI. No indication is given of whether the condition is temporary or permanent.

If the server does not wish to make this information available to the client, the status code 403 (Forbidden) can be used instead. The 410 (Gone) status code SHOULD be used if the server knows, through some internally configurable mechanism, that an old resource is permanently unavailable and has no forwarding address.

Philips Semiconductors launches first LIN transceiver

Philips Semiconductors announced on Monday its first Local Interconnect Network (LIN) family product. The TJA1020 stand-alone transceiver features low power moding, local and remote wakeup (source recognition), fail-safe features, and good EMC performance. As the latest emerging concept developed for in-vehicle subnetworks, LIN is said to improve both the cost-effectiveness and flexibility of car networking.

The new transceiver is intended for decentralized implementations of local in-vehicle functions within, for example, the door and seat. It is the interface between the LIN master/slave protocol controller and the physical bus in a local interconnect network. The TJA1020 is primarily intended for in-vehicle sub networks using baud rates from 5 to 20 kBaud, the maximum specified speed for LIN. The transceiver features an integrated termination resistor for slave applications and offers high electromagnetic immunity and low electromagnetic emissions. It consumes very little current in sleep mode, and its on-chip circuitry protects against transients and short-circuits.

The TJA1020 is another example of Philips Semiconductors' efforts in maintaining a leadership position in in-vehicle networking. The company is a supplier of dedicated automotive systems and components, focusing on a number of core areas including in-vehicle networks, access and immobilization, and car infotainment. Its goal is the development of a single, integrated car telematics platform.
