TRW actively adapts its suspensions

If the wheel had to be reinvented every time a car was designed or redesigned, chances are such "luxuries" as dome lights and power windows would still be years away. But because engineers are able to learn from and build on their and others' achievements rather than always starting from the beginning, automotive luxuries began evolving into standard features about the same time that the car was invented.
