Acura MD-X

Acura's next-generation sport utility vehicle will incorporate many MD-X elements to provide "sports sedan performance and SUV functionality." The production version of the MD-X will use an environmentally responsible powertrain that achieves good fuel efficiency with low exhaust emissions. Power will be transferred to all four wheels through an automatic four-wheel-drive system. The MD-X has 18-in wheels with specially designed Michelin tires and a large glass moonroof. Inside are four individual bucket seats and brushed nickel accents along with integrated hardwood and sisal flooring. Storage space is available in separate front and rear center consoles along with flat passenger and rear cargo area floors for easy loading and access. The concept also features a GPS-linked navigation system and integrated cellular Internet access.
