The H3T concept pickup was designed to bring the Hummer "DNA" onto the General Motors midsize truck platform for a smaller, non-SUV configuration, while providing clues to the evolution of the brand's design. Along with 34-in-tall tires and 11.5 in (290 mm) of ground clearance, the H3T has a 51° approach angle and 50° departure angle—both critical measures on Hummer's internal "off-road performance metric" of capabilities. The H3T is 174.9 in (4443 mm) long, 74.5 in (1893 mm) wide, and 70.6 in (1795 mm) high, with a wheelbase of 118.6 in (3012 mm) and mass of 4650 lb (2109 kg). The bed measures 5 ft (1.5 m) wide x 5 ft (1.5 m) long x 1.6 ft (0.5 m) deep for 40-ft3 (1133-L) storage capacity.
