Peugeot to rock Paris with V12 diesel

To be unveiled at the Paris Motor Show, Peugeot's radical 908 RC concept powered by a rear/centrally positioned 5.5-L V12 HDi DPFS (diesel particulate filtersystem) engine is bound to be an instant "show star." A large, four-door, four (individual) seat sedan, the design builds on the RC concept cars shown at Paris in 2002. The car's mighty engine—designed for the 2007 Le Mans Race Series—generates more than 515 kW (690 hp) and maximum torque in excess of 1200 N•m (885 lb•ft).
