Touchtronic for Aston
-

Fingertip-operated electronic man-ual control for the automatic transmission of the DB7 Vantage is now being offered by Aston Martin. It was developed in conjunction with ZF. Called Touchtronic, driver control is via buttons marked "+" and "-" for up or down sequential shifts. There is also a floor-mounted selector lever. When gears are selected manually, the transmission is programmed to "Sport" mode. The car also has a newly designed Visteon instrument display and a 6.0-L V12 engine.
