Aston spends
-
Specialist car producer Aston Martin is spending £5 million ($7.5 million) on major improvements to its production, quality control, and administration facilities. The quality control areas include a water, rolling road, and brake test systems. At Bloxham, where the DB7 is built, the production area is being extended by 50%; a new paint facility is already in use. Aston Martin is expanding its sales, with 1000 units this year a possibility. The company may eventually reach about 3000 units per annum.
