BMW M3

BMW has unveiled the new concept version of its M3 Coupe, although production is at least a year away. The company has given it styling that is more distinctive from the regular 3 Series Coupe than was the case with the previous model. Flared wheel arches, a power dome on the hood, four exhaust tailpipes, and wide tires on unique M-alloy wheels contribute to this. The engine is expected to be a 3.4-L unit producing 254 kW (340 hp) driving through a six-speed gearbox. BMW is also to launch a 3 Series diesel "muscle car," the six-cylinder 330d, which uses the 137-kW (184-hp) common-rail direct-injection turbodiesel engine from the 5 Series.
