GE's Lexan found inside and out
Two very different vehicle applications make use of GE Lexan materials: an instrument panel (IP) "topper" in the 2006 Cadillac DTS uses Lexan EXL resin, and the 2005 Opel Zafira's modular roof features Lexan SLX film. Both applications were finalists in the Society of Plastics Engineers' annual Automotive Innovation Awards, which recognize innovative plastics use in a variety of categories.
