Orbseal, Bayer team on cavity-filling foam
The cavity-filling foam is of two component polyurethane and is designed for automotive structural applications, with noise abatement advantages as well. The foam is injected into vehicle cavities as a lightweight means of increasing body stiffness and improving impact protection while also improving ride quality, according to Orbseal.
