Solvay material solves warpage issues
A new engineered polyolefin, Sequel 1880, is the stiffest thermoplastic polyolefin (TPO) currently approved for use at General Motors Corp., according to the maker of the material, Solvay Engineered Polymers. It is used to make two lockable storage compartments on either side of the 2003 Chevrolet Avalanche cargo box.
