Mazda opens the door to innovative material
A long-glass-fiber polypropylene composite produced by LNP Engineering Plastics has been used for what is described as a "first of its type" door module carrier in the Mazda6. The composite, Vertron MFX, is of low viscosity and high flow, with a high crystalline structure that can be injection-compression-molded or injection-molded.
