High-speed riveting

Emhart Fastening Teknologies' POP-matic modular riveting system allows an untrained operator to set up to 40 rivets per minute. The unit is self-feeding — the rivets are fed pneumatically to the pulling head ready for setting. External feeding, accomplished by the operator inserting the rivet head into the hole and actuating the trigger, makes the system virtually free of jams. Applications include automotive subassemblies such as airbags.
