Hematite's BodyGuard system of components incorporates post-consumer/industrial recycled materials into "second-life" automotive products. The components are made from 100% recycled and recyclable materials, including recovered thermoplastic polyolefin from painted bumper fascias and trim, thermoplastic elastomers, polyethylene, and polyvinyl chloride. SoundGuard components are used for noise-control abatement applications; AquaGuard components are used for air/water deflection applications; and ThermaGuard components are primarily used as heat-resistant barriers in under-hood applications.
