Mini accelerometers measure vibration

Kistler Instrument Corp.'s Model 8732A500 and 8734A500 miniature accelerometers are capable of measuring vibration on very small test articles. Complying with automotive industry standards, the accelerometers feature aluminum/titanium construction, hard anodized finish that provides ground isolation, and Kistler K-Shear Technology that assures insensitivity to base strain, thermal transients, and transverse acceleration. Each unit, which has a voltage sensitivity of 10 mV/g and a frequency range of 0.7 Hz to 15 kHz, can be powered by any 2-20 mA constant current source.
