Hybrid mold technology

The Kupron Hybrid Mold from Kupron Prototypes is a new type of injection mold for the production of large thermoplastic representative parts. The technology allows for production of representative parts such as dashboards, bumpers, or door panels with short lead times. Representative prototypes, made in a small preproduction run using the same plastic material and molding conditions as under serial production, are used for such purposes as crash testing, temperature resistance, and durability testing.
