LucasVarity is using Yokogawa's DL-708 oscilloscope to minimize noises caused by ABS pulsations and improve pedal feel so drivers are not surprised when their vehicle comes under ABS control. The firm uses two to three channels to monitor wheel pressure, two more for low-voltage signals from the master cylinder, one to record signal current from the hydraulic-control actuators, and one to check battery voltage. The oscilloscope handles the high volume of data concurrently.
