Transponder front-end

A transponder front end from Temic Semiconductors is intended for passive transponder systems without batteries. The U3280M is a device for low-frequency wireless applications (120 to 135 kHz with amplitude modulation). The device can be used as an interface IC between a magnetic-field antenna and a microcontroller, and serves to transmit contactless data and energy for the read/write function in a typical distance of 5 to 12 cm (2 to 4.7 in).
