White-light LED technology

A technology from Gentex Corp. provides cost-effective white light for illumination purposes using high-intensity LEDs. The LEDs (including binary/complementary white, amber, red, and blue/green) are said to be about 10 times brighter than any others available. The devices, which provide extremely long life and low heat generation, can be used either as signals or for illumination purposes.
