Composite actuator assembly

Nagle Industries switched from traditional die cast metal to Verton RF, a long-glass-fiber-reinforced nylon 6/6 from LNP Engineering Plastics, for its new cable actuator assembly. The material provides the processability of plastic plus the strength characteristics of die casting. The composite allowed engineers to mount the cable actuator on the metal bracket without using screws, bolts, or clips.
