Hall-effect speed sensor

Infineon Technologies' TLE4942 integrated Hall-effect sensor jointly developed with Robert Bosch is designed for wheel speed detection in anti-lock braking systems (ABS). The third-generation ABS Hall integrated circuit (IC), based on BiCMOS technology integrating mixed signal self-calibration techniques, features specific two-wire PWM current interface and diagnostics regarding magnetic field quality; bi-directional speed detection (the first backbiased dynamic differential Hall-effect IC on the market offering that feature); specific small and ultrathin leaded packaging (PSSO-2-1); and a temperature range of -40° to +150°C (-40° to +302°F).
