BGF Industries, Inc.'s new line of insulation products, called Thermalzone Insulation, are mechanically bonded nonwoven mats ranging in thickness from (0.125 to 1 in). The three products are Techmat, a 100% glass-fiber blanket providing protection up to 650°C (1200°F); Basalt Mat, made of 100% basalt fibers and providing protection to 800°C (1500°F); and Silica Mat, 98% silica fibers withstanding a temperature of 1100°C (2000°F).
