E-A-R Specialty Composites' Tufcote decoupled sound barrier composite features a leather-like surface texture. The glove-skinned vinyl surface makes the material ideal for noise-control applications requiring a decorative appearance, such as truck, car, and boat interiors. The Tufcote composite is comprised of a polyether acoustical foam decoupling layer and a flexible, barium sulfate-loaded vinyl sound barrier.
