Analog Devices, Inc.'s ADSP-21ESP202 is a programmable, full-duplex, speech-processing solution on a single chip. Manufacturers can receive a total hardware/software system solution with application code installed; they can then differentiate that solution by adding their own software in ROM. The device is suited for the hands-free car kit market, where the goal is to ensure safe, full-duplex cellular communications while driving.
