3-D scene digitizer

3rdTech Inc.'s DeltaSphere-3000 laser 3-D scene digitizer produces panoramic, accurate 3-D point sets over large spaces in record time. It can also combine captured 3-D data with accurate color information for realistic renderings from multiple viewpoints. The portable system resembles a video camera on a tripod, and it integrates into a single package a computer-controlled laser-range finder with azimuth and elevation positioning motors, and embedded CPU, a rechargeable battery pack, and an optional digital color camera.
