Wheel hubs

Factory assembled and preloaded to precise tolerances, the hubs eliminate problems associated with improper field installation of bearings, thus providing optimum bearing life. The hubs also eliminate premature seal failures.
Visual programming interface
Data Translation, Inc.'s DT VPI 6.0 visual programming interface for data acquisition connects Agilent Technologies' new VEE OneLab graphical programming environment to all Data Translation DT-Open Layer compliant data-acquisition hardware. The DT VPI's intuitive pull-down menu gives users a full choice of objects for configuring and controlling analog/digital, digital/analog, counter/timer, and digital I/O subsystems on the hardware.

automotive applications. The push-in socket design is ergonomically friendly
and favors automatic loading and robotic insertion of the bulbs. An elastomer
O-ring seals the plug-in bulb socket to more than 17 kPa (2.5 psi).
Calibration system
The PII 410 from Pierburg Instruments is a high-speed mobile calibration and diagnostic system for testing fuel-flow measurement systems. Upgrades over the previous version include a computer with valve control and diagnostic software for fast and automated calibration cycles, and programmable tolerance bands. Compared to a standard calibration with a weighing system, the total process can be reduced from 4 h to 30 min.
