eCorner is the wheel thing for Siemens
Siemens VDO Automotive is working toward the integration of drivetrain, steering, shock absorber, and braking systems into the wheels of cars. Known as the eCorner concept, the company believes it could be in common use by 2020, bringing a wide application of drive-by-wire technology and with it an ever-wider role for electric motors.
