Mechadyne Intl. has developed a range of cost-effective variable valve timing systems that require minimum change to the base engine across all of the common configurations, resulting in a low overall cost of implementation. These systems are well suited to conventional twin cam engines, including those with narrow cam center distances. Also available are systems that are specifically for push-rod and cam-in-block engines, single-overhead cam, and diesel engines that cannot use conventional phasing systems.
