AEC's programmable, active rotary position sensor is suitable for throttle position, pedal position, ride height, transmission shift position, and EGR valve-position sensing. The programmability of the sensor allows the OEM to calibrate the sensor electronically after installation, therefore negating mechanical stack-up and process variations. It also reduces customer calibration time and part-to-part variation in assembly, thereby reducing manufacturing and assembly costs. The sensor provides increased accuracy over a range of temperatures and improves system performance and efficiency.
