Advanced Custom Sensors (www.acsensor.com) has introduced the Model 7000 Thin-Film Pressure Sensor designed for harsh environments. It is mainly used to replace pressure switches in applications which require more than just on-off signals for either performance improvement or system diagnosis. Other OEM applications include hydraulic system, compressor, pump, valve, and automotive equipment. The sensor is fabricated using a thin-film sputtering process.
