The Model 8541 high-temperature absolute pressure transducer is available from Endevco Corp. (www.endevco.com). Designed for both static and dynamic pressure measurements, the transducer offers the highest temperature capability available. It offers high-temperature performance to 350 °C continuously and operation with diminished lifetime to 400 °C. Its patented design features small size, good dynamic response, high signal output, and minimal thermal errors. Based on silicone strain gauges which are atomically bonded to a micromachined silicon diaphragm, the transducer offers a full-scale output of 300 mV and a wide frequency response from dc to 200 kHz. The 8541 has a 3.8 mm face diameter, a 10-32 VNF mounting thread, and is available with full-scale pressure ranges of 100, 350, 700, 1400, and 3500 kPa.
