The Performance Review Institute (PRI) was created by SAE in 1990 and has offices located in Warrendale, Pennsylvania, as well as in the United Kingdom and Asia.
OPEN POSITIONS
NADCAP ENGINEER - (specializing in one or more of the following commodities: Heat Treat, Materials Testing, Welding, Shot Peening, Coatings)
The purpose of this position is to support assigned Industry Managed Programs; develop useful standards and state of the art consensus qualification procedures; scheduling pilot audits of suppliers using available and contracted resources; publish audit/survey reports working through committee structure and due process in order to serve industry, government and society.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support Technical Audit Reports in a timely an accurate manner
- Effectively close audit reports for timely issuance of certificates
- Administer assigned personnel including support staff, consultants, technical auditors, etc. in an effective manner
- Motivate and guide Industry Managed Committee Activities in developing Standards, Manuals, and reviewing audit reports in an effective and efficient manner
- Monitor Budgets of assigned activities using a continuous quality improvement approach
- Act as an information focal point
SPECIALIZED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Bachelors Degree in Engineering or equivalent experience, required
- 5 years experience with (specified commodity) processing (aerospace industry preferred)
- An excellent understanding of industry and other specifications as related to (specified commodity)
- 2 years experience working with Aerospace Standards.
- (Commodity specific) manufacturing/inspection/engineering experience, desired
- Ability to travel up 25% of time required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills required.
- Ability to operate a Computer, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint required.
- Experience in working with Aerospace Standards desired.
- Technical knowledge of appropriate materials science disciplines/methods required.
