Professional Development Coordinator - eQuaLified

POSITION SUMMARY

Coordinate eQuaLified program activities by providing support for councils, committees and staff including responding to problems and inquiries in the supervisor's absence as appropriate, to ensure timely and effective programs.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Provide support to and manage the activities of the eQuaLified Management Council (eQMC) including Panels and Review Boards by coordinating meetings, agendas, logistics, conference calls, action items, answering inquiries, solving problems, etc., to support the qualification program including regular reviews of the quality of work completed with the eQMC, Panels and Review Boards to ensure that it meets the project standard.
  • Maintain the PRI Industry Managed Examination Center, including managing financial records, examination software, payments and invoices, registrations, records and generating reports, etc.
  • Maintain and support development of the industry Bodies of Knowledge (BoKs) and examinations including guiding and leading the development work of Review Boards as required.
  • Provide support to staff and customers in the use of systems and available information related to the programs and products, through website applications, documented instructions, and telephone help desk queries.
  • Develop a schedule for project completion including effectively determining and allocating the resources (time, money, equipment, etc.) to the activities, identifying and sequencing the activities needed to successfully complete the project and/or deadline on time, within budget, and at the required level of quality.
  • Ensure all financial records and reports are processed in a timely fashion.
  • Document and/or establish process and procedures; may be required to develop forms and records to document activities.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field with 2+ years of office administrative experience or an Associate's degree in Business or related field with 4+ years of office administrative experience.
  • Experience working with Committees desired.
  • Experience working with budgets desired.
  • Strong computer skills and ability to work with appropriate computer application programs.

JOB TITLE
ENGINEER & PART QUALIFICATION SPECIALIST - AEROSPACE

POSITION SUMMARY

This UK-based position, contracted to SAE International, is responsible for managing the business of enhancing the mobility industries' competitiveness through the various standards-related programs. Business activities include but are not limited to the development, management and marketing of aerospace standards, qualification/certification programs, referee materials, cooperative research and identifying markets for the same.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Effectively coordinating the Technical Standards Committee(s):
    • Function as the focal point for all committee activities by writing and issuing agendas and minutes, resolving problems, communicating information, answering inquiries, etc.
    • Facilitating and expediting the work of assigned committees by independently representing SAE ITC
  • Effectively managing the development of the SAE ITC aerospace standards, products and services.
  • Provide management and oversight of the program's Part Qualification Program.
  • Motivating and guiding volunteer leadership involved in the aerospace standards activities in an effective manner.
  • Developing industry standards development services in new technical areas by exploring opportunities in expanding and emerging technologies.
  • Contributing to the achievement of SAE ITC's organizational goals.

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS:

  • HND/HNC or degree in Engineering and at least seven years related technical experience, or equivalent, required
  • Understanding of Configuration Management and Configuration Control Processes
  • Experience in a supervisory position preferred
  • Experience working in or with the aerospace industry, preferred
  • Non-profit association experience, preferable
  • Experience in dealing with people (i.e., supervision, consulting, sales)

JOB TITLE
ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE/PAYABLE ACCOUNTANT

POSITION SUMMARY

This position is responsible for ensuring that all payments received are processed in an efficient and accurate manner, and providing assurance that cash, accounts receivable balances, and income accounts are properly reflected on balance sheets and income statements. This position is also responsible for the processing of the liabilities in the form of accounts payable in a timely and accurate manner to ensure that PRI meets its obligations and accurately reflects such liabilities on the balance sheet.

PRIMARY DUTIES

  • Providing an independent authorization of assigned invoices and check request payments into Oracle Financials to ensure that all requests for payment are valid liabilities.
  • Processing assigned accounts payable vouchers and generating checks to ensure that PRI meets its obligations and accurately reflects all liabilities on the balance sheet.
  • Processing and depositing payments received in a prompt, accurate manner.
  • Maintaining an in-depth working knowledge of the CMS database by updating and maintaining all customer information, records, payments, and deposits into the CMS System; and balancing checks and payments to CMS batch totals.
  • Researching questions from staff and customers regarding payment application.
  • Researching and processing unidentified checks and bank transfers and monitoring all unapplied payments to ensure the prompt recording of revenue.
  • Reconciling cash accounts to CMS records.
  • Additional projects as assigned.
