Uwe Kirberg, Vice President Engineering Diesel Systems, Diesel, Robert Bosch LLC

Dr. Uwe Kirberg was named vice president of engineering for Robert Bosch LLC's North American Diesel Systems division on September 1, 2010. In this position, he is responsible for development and application of diesel systems and components in North America. He is based in Farmington Hills, MI. Since joining Bosch in 1985, Kirberg has held numerous positions in development, application, process and project management for electrical power steering systems, alternators and brakes. He was previously the senior vice president in the Chassis System Brakes division, located in South Bend, IN. Kirberg has also held a series of positions in the Chassis division at Bosch in Germany and the U.S. Kirberg earned a Dipl.-Ing and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Aachen, Germany.
