Learn how you can easily access data from many sources such as vehicle instrumentation, emission laboratories, and calibration databases, quickly analyze and visualize the data, speed up repetitive data analysis tasks, and share the results with others in your organization.

You will also learn how to use advanced statistical and optimization capabilities in support of trade off analysis, powertrain calibration and Design for Six Sigma (DFSS) techniques and thereby improve the performance and quality of your engineering designs. This workshop will demonstrate how to use technical computing tools and associated toolboxes for these tasks and help accelerate your research and design process.

Presenter:
Todd Schultz
Todd has a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and a Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Florida. His Ph.D. research focused on advanced acoustic measurement techniques and advanced experimental uncertainty methods. Prior to joining The MathWorks in May of 2007, Todd worked as an acoustical consultant for a firm in Cambridge, MA. He also has had co-op and internship experiences with Pratt and Whitney Aircraft and NASA Langley Research Center. Most of Todd’s experience is with MATLAB performing signal processing and data analysis tasks on experimental data.
