Call for "Chat with the Expert" Speakers

Chats with the Experts were designed as small group discussions between an expert and interested parties on subjects of mutual interest to encourage conversations, questions, idea exchanges, and possibly offer practical solutions, all in an informal setting. The format of a "Chat" is for the subject matter expert to provide brief, opening comments to kick off a topic and then facilitate an interactive dialogue between participants. If you have a topic of interest that you feel attendees may share in, please submit your name, company, phone and email, along with a 100 word description, to Melissa Jena at mjena@sae.org.

The responsible SAE oversight committee will review all submissions and then select the ones of highest interest. Scheduled experts, who are SAE members, will be entitled to attend the SAE 2012 World Congress for free.

Topics for Chats, especially as they relate to the 2012 Theme, "Get Connected", are being invited on:

• Electronics
• Emissions/Environment/Sustainability
• Integrated Design & Manufacturing
• Materials
• Powertrain
• Safety/Testing
• Potential technology transfer applications from aerospace, marine, rail and other sectors
• Point counterpoint discussions are also welcome
