Electrical Power Integrated Systems Center (EPISCenter) & National Museum of the US Air Force

Register early (space is limited) Buses will begin loading in front of the hotel at 7:45 a.m. and depart promptly at 8:00 a.m. and return to the hotel at 4:00 p.m. (Lunch is included)
Electrical Power Integrated Systems Center (EPISCenter)A state-of-the-art, 88,000-square-foot lab and infrastructure in Dayton, Ohio, enable testing of complete electrical power systems within a copper-bird environment. EPISCenter engineers collaborate with leading researchers at the University of Dayton on both civil and military applications.
National Museum of the US Air ForcePresidential and R&D Galleries The Presidential and Research & Development Galleries, located on the controlled-access portion of Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, are accessible using the shuttle bus service from the main museum complex. This service is offered on a first-come, first-served basis. Sign up early as buses fill up quickly! Read the requirements for visiting these galleries (government-issued ID and check-in required). Behind the Scenes Tours Behind the Scenes Tours are regularly scheduled, free guided tours of the museum's restoration area. Participants are shuttled to the restoration hangars, located about one mile from the main museum complex. Tours are offered every Friday (some exceptions) at 12:15 p.m. Advance registration is required. Sign up early as tours may fill up quickly! To register for tours through May 2014, please select a date from the list below and submit a registration form or call (937) 656-9436. Additional instructions are included on the form. USAF Heritage Tours These free guided tours of the museum are open to the general public daily at 1:30 p.m., with an additional tour at 10:30 a.m. on Saturdays. All tours begin at the entrance to the Early Years Gallery (through the Museum Store and turn right). Advance registration is not necessary A current government-issued photo ID (i.e. state ID or driver's license) is required for citizens of the U.S. and U.S. territories over age 18. All foreign visitors must present an original passport (NEXUS cards and foreign enhanced driver's licenses are not authorized at this time). The bus will depart the EPISCenter at 10:30 a.m. and arrive at the museum, where a guide will verify ID, and then continue to the Presidential and R&D Galleries, and then proceed to the Restoration Center. Afterwards, the bus will return to the main museum, where you will be given a voucher for lunch in the cafeteria and then you will have time to explore the main part of the museum.

Register early (space is limited) Buses will begin boarding outside of the main entrance to the Hyatt Regency Cincinnati at 12:30 p.m. and depart promptly at 1:00 p.m., returning to the Hyatt at 3:00 p.m. This walking tour will provide insight into the Cincinnati Electronics engineering and manufacturing facility. The Space Electronics business specializes in the design, manufacture and marketing of high-reliability electronic equipment specially designed and qualified for use on missiles, launch vehicles and spacecraft. The Infrared Products business specializes in sensors and thermal imaging systems that empower our national security on every level. Our technologies increase situational awareness, enhance surveillance capabilities, and aid in the detection and deterrence of potential threats. This tour will take 1 - 1.5 hours (from arrival to departure). Attendee requirements:
