As Global Account Executive at Infineon, Scott is responsible for business development at Ford Motor Company worldwide. He leads the promotion of innovation and the collaboration between the two organizations. Mr. Craig started his career at AC Rochester and has worked for Kelsey Hayes (now TRW), FCI, and JAE prior to joining Infineon in 2003.

Over the course of his 23-year career, Scott has developed a passion and expertise for business development. Through the building of strong industry relationships, innovative ideas, and global vision, he is a contributor to the automotive market at large.

Scott has been an active member of SAE since 1992. He is currently part of the Industry Leadership Coalition for SAE, a member of the Technical Council for Convergence. In addition, he serves as an organizer for the SAE Smart Grid session of World Congress, SAE Convergence Megatrends, and the SAE Advanced Safety Symposium. He is also involved in the fostering of the sciences and technology through his mentorship in FIRST for the Northville High school Robostangs - Team 548.

Scott holds a Bachelor degree in Physics from Kalamazoo College and BSEE from Wayne State University.

Hideki Hada is in charge of technology planning for intelligent transportation systems (ITS) and active safety systems at Toyota Technical Center. Utilizing his rich experience in the strategy development and industry analysis, Hada focuses his work at Integrated Vehicle Systems Department to identify the technical domains that Toyota should pursue further research and development efforts in the North American region. He also serves as the project manager for a government-industry collaboration project to develop infrastructure-cooperative collision avoidance technologies. Hada's goal in automotive research is to find a balanced social and technological solution with maximum safety and mobility. His previous responsibilities include HMI research, government affairs, technology benchmarking, electronics design coordination, and technology planning.

Dr. Joseph N. Kanianthra is the President of Active Safety Engineering LLC, a company set up specifically to provide automobile safety consulting services to the industry and safety community. He retired from the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) of the U.S. Department of Transportation in August 2008 after 32 years of service. There he was the Senior Technical Advisor and an Associate Administrator for the Office of Vehicle Safety Research, where he directed all vehicle safety research related to crashworthiness, crash avoidance, driver-vehicle performance, tire research, driver distraction research, and intelligent technologies research programs. His chief accomplishments in research and in safety standards were the development of safety standards based on research for dynamic side-impact protection, roof crush injury prevention, ejection mitigation, head injury protection, and frontal impact protection of occupants in light passenger vehicles. He also developed the vision for "Total Safety" directing NHTSA's research towards the use of advanced technologies as a means of achieving integration of active and passive safety. He was also very active in the area of international harmonization of research and safety standards. Until August 2008, he was the Chairman of the International Enhanced Safety of Vehicles Government Focal Points Group.

During his long career, Dr. Kanianthra has received several distinguished awards, including the U.S. DOT Secretary's Award for meritorious and technological achievements, and in 2001 he received the Presidential Rank Award as meritorious executive for sustained superior achievements. In 2008, he was awarded the Pathfinder Award by the Automotive Occupant Restraint Council and the Award of Merit for his significant contributions in safety from the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine. In June 2009, he received the Award for Engineering Excellence from the U.S. Government Department of Transportation at the 21st Enhanced Safety of Vehicles Conference in Stuttgart, Germany, and, in October 2009, in recognition of his outstanding technical achievements in vehicle safety, he was elected to be an SAE Fellow by SAE International's Board of Directors and the SAE Fellows Committee. Since retiring from the Government, he has also completed several projects involving vehicle testing, accident data analysis, technical reports and expert opinions on various safety topics for the government and automotive industry. He is also a collaborating author of books on automobile safety. He has published many technical papers on safety in various national and international publications. He is a patent holding inventor and an internationally recognized safety expert. He has also addressed many well-known conferences such as the SAE World Congress, ITSA, FISITA, ESV, INFATS, ICAT Conferences, World Injury Conference and International Mobility Conferences. Currently, he is also the Chairman of the International Scientific Advisory Board for SAFER - Vehicle and Traffic Safety Research Center of Chalmers University, and a member of the expert evaluation team for Area of Advance in Transportation Research at Chalmers University in Sweden.

Karina Morley has 28 years of experience in electrical engineering, manufacturing, quality, business planning and customer sales.

Karina Morley serves as head of NA OEM Camera Engineering for Magna Electronics, responsible for camera engineering programs and launches. Prior to this, she was Director of sales, marketing, government affairs and quality at Magna E-Car, where she was responsible for growing the business and improving processes throughout the organization.

Previously, Karina was a principal at Management Engineers - one of the leading German consultancies. She helped OEM's and Tier 1's save money through product and process cost reductions.

Prior to that, Karina Morley served as global vice president, control and electronics engineering for Ricardo - one of the world's foremost independent vehicle engineering consulting companies. A member of the company's executive team, she was responsible for managing and growing the company's electronic engineering activities. Her role was leading a global organization for all hardware, software, algorithm and battery, and Hybrid and Electric Vehicle initiatives and served on the US Ricardo board.

Prior to joining Ricardo, she served as global director for powertrain electronics at Visteon Corporation. She worked at Ford Motor Company and Visteon for 18 years over multiple electronic areas of the vehicle, e.g. powertrain, audio, instrument clusters, speed control, chassis controls and climate controls. During the time at Ford, she worked in the United Kingdom for 4 years in management positions.

Prior to joining Ford Motor Company, Karina worked at Chrysler Corporation as an electronic engineer in audio systems and electromagnetic compatibility design.

Morley earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering and a Masters of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at the University of Michigan. She also earned a Master of Business Administration in International Business at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan.

Mr. Parker is an experienced mechanical and automotive design engineer who specializes in vehicle body performance analysis and the evaluation of vehicle structures in all types of crashes, including side impacts and roof strength/roof crush in rollovers, as well as in accident reconstruction, vehicle crashworthiness, and performance of components and systems. His experience in industry and consulting includes the design, performance, testing, and manufacturing of most body structural systems, including roofs, doors, and energy-absorbing frame elements, as well as accident reconstruction, safety of lithium-ion batteries in vehicle applications, and assessing the use of alternate materials such as composites and structural foams in vehicle structures.

Mr. Parker has over 35 years of industry and consulting experience in the design, development, testing, and analysis of domestic and foreign automotive products and components. Over the course of his career, Mr. Parker has conducted and/or witnessed and analyzed the results from more than 200 full-scale vehicle crash tests in new product development, FMVSS and foreign certification, accident reconstruction validation, and research. He has also conducted numerous developmental and FMVSS certification tests on component-level items such as roofs, door beams and structures, door latches, door hinges, seat belt anchorages, and bumper systems. He has provided consulting services in many diverse areas, including product design, design defect claims, rollover/roof crush, accident investigation and reconstruction, insurance fraud, appropriate repair of damaged automobile bodies, product components such as gas springs, automotive seats, and door latches/locks, organizational management, and intellectual property validity/infringement issues. Mr. Parker's research further extends to assessing the use of alternate materials such as high strength steels, aluminum, composites and structural foams in vehicle structures, practical applications of glazing materials, integration of lithium-ion batteries in vehicle crash architecture, safety and handling of lithium-ion batteries in vehicle development facilities, and analyzing the engineering design of various other consumer products.

Frank Sgambati is the Director of Marketing, Product Planning, and Innovation Management for the Chassis Systems Control division of Robert Bosch LLC in Plymouth, Michigan. He is responsible for the division's strategic marketing and product innovation in the North American market.

During his nearly 20 years of automotive industry experience, Sgambati has held a series of Engineering, Project Management, Sales, and Marketing positions with increasing responsibility. Since joining Bosch in 1998, Sgambati has held positions both at Robert Bosch NA and Robert Bosch Europe. Prior to joining Bosch, Sgambati held positions at Dow Corning Corporation, General Motors, and Delphi Steering Systems.

Sgambati earned his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Michigan Technological University.

Rini Sherony is a Principal Engineer at Toyota's Collaborative Safety Research Center (CSRC) which is part of Toyota Technical Center located in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is with Toyota for the past 15 years working in crash data analysis, Active Safety system design, evaluation and planning. Rini has a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering. At CSRC She is the lead for active safety collaboration research and crash data analysis. Her current responsibilities include development of test procedures, surrogate target, and testing for active safety systems like Pre-Collision, Pedestrian Pre-Collision system, etc. She is an active member of the SAE Active Safety committee. She is also a member of the Institute of Electronics and Electrical Engineers (IEEE) and the Association for the Advancement of Automotive Medicine (AAAM).

Dr. Peter W&wuml;ltermann is working with dSPACE GmbH in Paderborn, Germany, since 1999. As a Section Manager in the engineering area, he is responsible for hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation projects for automotive customers all over the world. Since 2004 he also supports the HIL business development for dSPACE in the US. He studied Mechanical Engineering, specializing in Mechatronics, at Paderborn and was awarded a doctorate by Prof. Dr.-Ing. J. Lueckel at the Mechatronics Laboratory Paderborn in the field of modeling, control and HIL simulation of hybrid electric vehicles.
