Steven Dietz, Lead Clutch Control Calibration Engineer, General Motors Company
Steven is a Lead Clutch Control Calibration Engineer in the Powertrain Division at GM. He works on 6-speed rear-wheel drive automatic transmission calibration based out of the Milford Proving Grounds. Steven is responsible for developing, managing, and validating algorithms and calibrations for future GM Full-sized Trucks. As part of his responsibilities he works closely with both the Engine and Vehicle Platform to ensure seamless integration. He graduated from the University of Michigan-Dearborn with a B.S.M.E. in 2008 and is currently pursuing a M.S.M.E. During his undergrad Steven was involved with both the Formula SAE and Baja SAE teams for 4 years; the last of which he was team captain. His SAE experience includes over 7 competitions.
