Corry Johnson, Design Release Engineer, General Motors Company
Corry holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute where he worked on the Formula SAE team. While working, he acquired a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan with a specialty in Hybrid Technologies. Corry currently works as a Design Release Engineer for General Motors. On his own time during his first seven years at GM, he managed the GM SCCA Autocross Team, teaching young engineers about the systems of the vehicle through a hands on racing experience. As a Sub-System Validation Engineer in the HVAC/Thermal group for six years, he increased the reliability of GM's midsize trucks, and the Chevrolet Volt. While working in the Design Release organization, Corry has acquired four patents on Coolant Control Valve technology. He currently works on the next generation Chevrolet Corvette.
