Erik Stancato, Lubrication and Ventilation Development Engineer, General Motors Company
Erik is currently working on the Gen5 Small Block team as a lubrication and ventilation development engineer. Prior to his current assignment he was a validation engineer on the High Value and High Feature V6 engine team. Erik participated in various roles (Co-Captain, suspension leader, engine calibrator, etc) on the Formula SAE team at the University of Michigan-Dearborn for 6 years and is transitioning to a FSAE volunteer during the 2012 competition at Michigan International Speedway. He holds a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan-Dearborn and finishing a MS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan - Dearborn.
