Christine L. Barman was appointed Unit Responsible-Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Chrysler Group LLC, in September, 2013. She has full responsibility for electrical component and system design, development and validation on all Chrysler Group products.

Previously, she was Vehicle Line Executive-C & D Segment Vehicles. Barman oversaw all planning, engineering, development and launch management of the CUSW platform, on which the Dodge Dart and Jeep Cherokee are based.

Barman joined the Company in 1994 as part of the Chrysler Institute of Engineering (CIE) program. In 2013, Barman was named by CNN Money as one of the "Top 10 Most Powerful Women in Autos". In 2010, Barman was recognized by Automotive News as one of the "100 Leading Women in the North American Automotive Industry," and by Diversity MBA Magazine as a "Top 100 Under-50" executive in 2008. She is on the Chrysler Women's Forum Board of Directors and the Executive Sponsor of Purdue University's College Relations Team. In addition, Barman is a member of Inforum AutomotiveNext.

She earned a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Michigan (2002), a Master of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Oakland University (1996) and a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering from Purdue University (1994).

Timothy L. Callard Vice Chair

Timothy L. Callard joined Chrysler Group LLC in May, 2010. He has full responsibility for Uconnect business development and product planning for all Chrysler Group products.

Previously, he was Vice President and Director of Finance with Motorola. Callard was responsible for all aspects of finance for the Automotive Group including the telematics business unit. He joined Motorola in 1985 and held multiple roles within the company including General Manager for the Two-Way Radio business, General Manager for the Automotive Aftermarket Business, Director of Investor Relations, CFO of Motorola Lighting, and Director of Finance for the Intelligent Vehicle Highway Systems strategic business unit.

He earned a Master of Business Administration degree in finance and economics from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management (1990), a Bachelor of Science degree in accounting from Illinois State University (1982), and is a Certified Public Accountant.

Callard was born in Chicago, Illinois.

Steve Buckley Technical Program Chair

Stephen J. Buckley assumed the role of Design Responsible-Driver Assistance Systems in March of 2011. He has full responsibility for rear driver assistance electrical component and system design, development, and validation on all Chrysler Group products.

Previously, he was Senior Technical Specialist - Driver Assistance Systems. Buckley was responsible for the active chassis technology road map, decoupled development strategy, and the pre-development of blind spot, lane departure, camera, and park assist systems. Buckley has also represented Chrysler as a technical leader at driver assistance and radio frequency consortia and has managed research programs at the University of Michigan, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, University of Toledo, and Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. He is also a design for six sigma green belt.

Buckley joined Chrysler in 1984 as a product development engineer. His 30 year career includes both research and production development of a broad array of electrical/electronic technologies spanning body, chassis, and powertrain EE systems. Buckley has published 12 technical papers, holds nine patents, and is a member of IEEE, SAE, ESD, and the Convergence Strategic Leadership Council. He has been working with Convergence since 1996.

Buckley earned a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan (1989), and a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from Northeastern University (1984).

Buckley was born in Dearborn, Michigan.
