In response to overwhelming positive customer feedback, a SAE Young Professional's (YP) Strategic Leadership Council has been formed to support Young Professional activities associated with the SAE 2014 Commercial Vehicle Engineering Congress.

The exciting programs and activities for Young Professionals at Comvec are designed to inform, encourage and motivate the leaders of tomorrow. This initiative will provide solid leadership principles that they can carry throughout their career. Young Professional (YP) Speed Mentoring

This event is an opportunity for young professionals to engage with executives in an informal setting. Mentors will be stationed around the room while small groups of the Young Professional participants rotate to different stations at set time intervals. The stations will consist only of chairs facing each other creating a comfortable, level atmosphere for communication.

2014 Call for Posters

NEW for 2014 - SAE 2014 COMVEC will now be hosting Student Poster Presentations. The purpose of this poster presentation is to explain, instruct, define, clarify, and demonstrate knowledge in one or more of the following topics: Vehicle, Ride, Handling and Dynamics; Efficient Operation; Vehicle Level Control Network; Societal Factors; Safety; and Product Development and Manufacturing.

Students are required to submit a 200-word abstract, which will then be reviewed by the Poster Chair for consideration. Posters are to be academic in nature, and not to be used for commercialization or promotion of any specific product(s).



Volunteers Needed

We are looking for YP's willing to volunteer at Comvec for half a day. In appreciation for your volunteerism, a "free" day of access to Comvec will be given to any individual who volunteers.
